Hi,
I've nearly completed my model of part of Omaha beach in 1/300th scale and I'm now getting together all the troops required. Some of the later landing waves need armoured bulldozers but I can't find any. Does anyone know where I can get some, armoured or not?
Many thanks

I have 6mm dozers, forklifts, cranes etc, but they are part of my collection. Email me at LWizzel@mn.rr.com to talk offline

C-in-C's WW2 Soviet Stalinets tractors make for an easy dozer conversion. Just add a blade and attachment arms to either track frame. I've done up a few for my collection and some for other local micro gamers. Since the Stalinets was based on a Caterpillar design to begin with, it's not much of a stretch.

No propaganda intended, but US engineering and automotive companies did expend a lot of capital in the USSR during the late 1920's and early 1930's. The Ford/GAZ connection is merely one obvious example. A lot of US automotive technology found it's way into Soviet vehicles of the period.
