I just noticed today that Litko is offering Flaming Dome Markers (small, medium and large) that work with our 1/285 scale miniatures. From the photo on the website, it looks like the markers just might be the ticket to replicate a damaged tank or building. The small marker measures 1.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall, inside the dome cutout area. The total size of the marker when assembled is 2.5 inches at the widest point and 4 inches tall, to the tip of the smoke cloud. I have include the URL to the small marker bellow. http://www.litkoaero.com/page/LAI/JIMSLAB

How many markers do you get in a pack? The small is $10, the medium is $20, and the large is $40. If you get one, I will get paper clip, twist around some. Then get some cotton for pillow stuffing, dye some it black, some orange/red and use some white and make a plume with the paper clip for less than $10/$20 or $40. So I guess i can also just pull some cotton on the vehicle around the barrel and underneath and have it 'drap' the dead vehicle.... Any other good ideas?

If that works for you dude, go for it! I don't make the things, I don't sell the things. I thought they looked kind of cool, that is all and wanted to share what I had seen. The nice thing about building miniatures and gaming, you are only limted by the mind. Peace out!

Good idea to share, I was making an alternative idea for consideration. Pointing out analysis from my prespective...each their own. As I asked,..."any other good ideas?" referring to your suggestion. Thank you.

Maybe... Locating a Tap Plastic store and digging through the scrap bin that they have in the store's. Finding a bunch of 1/8" red, yellow, and smoked plastic and doin the home made thing. Gotta be cheaper?

Looks like it is 1 flaming dome for $10. That is real steep for micro armor. Creative but expensive.
