Hi,

I would like to see 1/600th scale SAM missiles and radar units produced in this scale, for use with both 1/300th and 1/600th scale aircraft.

Many people are now gaming with aircraft in 1/600th scale, and others would prefer smaller targets on the tabletop, to provide a sense of forced perspective, so their jets appear to be flying higher than the missile sites.

Anyone else interested in seeing these produced?

I imagine they shouldn't be too hard to put into production, given that a number of them are already available from Pfc. in 1/285th scale, so the CAD drawings are already available for many - they just need to be re-scaled.

No doubt, hundreds would be sold, since the smaller missile launchers would be less expensive to produce, and could be sold in batteries to match historical deployments.

First up, I would like to see the SA-2, SA-3 (two and four missile launchers), SA-6, and trailer mounts for the Rapier and HAWK missiles.

Additionally, I would also like to see the SA-4 and SA-5, as well as the Nike Zeus, Nike Hercules, Bloodhound, and Bomarc missiles.

Of course, radar units will be needed as well.

Hoi Mako, and do you realize that you can obtain 1:700th Modern or WW2 plastic aircraft, at a much more inexpensive and just as visually appealing demeanor as what you shall in mind about these? Unfortunately, there no longer were available some slightly larger scale kinds in plastic, that I used to be able to purchase at 5-cents apiece, with those being in over a dozen types and of 4 colors for this all. I had bought $4 or $5 worth of these as the last of any that were around, but that was well over a decade ago and none have sinced appeared that I was able to further locate. I had been using these to cut apart and cobble together in creating all manner of futuristic aircraft and vehicles for uses in my 'scratch-built' versions for the "OGRE" miniatures. Some have even ended up as being used within the "Fortress America" game, and of which I do have that on display at "BoardGameGeek.com" under its entry there. You would actually need to find the listing about the "F.A. Expansion Pack #1" on those, as I put them within some VARIANT of that then. Good luck for the other items with what you can find, while I'd even suggest you go about and 'scratchbuild' that from modern shipmodel kit parts and the like.
